Note that learning Cuban Salsa (Rueda) helps you learn other dances, and learning other dances helps you learn Salsa.  Many fundamentals are similar in different dances!  For example, Salsa and Mambo are basically the same dance, but in Salsa you can "break" (i.e. change direction) on beats 1 or 2, and in Mambo it's always on beat 2.  And Salsa movement is generally fluid while Mambo is sharper & more dramatic.
